Framtidens städer och regioner

I dagarna har äntligen antologin ”The Future of Cities and Regions” publicerats på Springer Verlag, där undertecknad medverkat med ett högst vetenskapligt bidrag med titeln ”Stockholm 2030”. Du kan hitta boken här. Det är resultatet av min medverkan i en workshop på världskonferensen för arkitekter i Turin 2008, då användningen av prognos- och simuleringsmodeller i samhällsplaneringen på olika nivåer stöttes och blöttes mellan professionella från när och fjärran. Det har tagit sin tid att också få dessa erfarenheter publicerade men nu finns dokumentationen äntligen. Tack Giuseppe och Luca för ert tålmodiga arbete.

Mitt bidrag handlar om hur modeller använts i regionplaneringen i Stockholm och speciellt i tillämpningen för den regionala utvecklingsplanen RUFS 2010. Detta arbete var alltså inte färdigt då konferensen hölls, men hann alltså gott och väl slutföras långt innan boken kom i tryck.
